Love Came Down
Today and always may you sense His love in a special way
The precious love of God sent to us through His Son on
that first Christmas day
Mary bore Him in a manger dear
No clothes had she for Him to wear
Wrapped in swaddling clothes, she placed her Babe in her
arms
And pondered in her heart that one day He would die upon a
cross
This Precious Lamb of God she thought
Yes, one day by His Blood man’s sin would be bought
My Child so rare and beautiful You are
Mother worships and adores You…God’s shining Star
The One who was sent to save me
Redeem me and rescue me from this world’s sins
You are my Lord, My God and my King
Wrapped in swaddling clothes
The gift of Love with joy I sing.
