GOD, my Refuge, my Deliverer and my Fortress.
March 16, 2017

Psalm 71:3 “Be my strong refuge, to which I may resort continually; You have given the commandment to save me for you are my Rock and my Fortress.”
What a blessing and sweet reward to abide under the tabernacle and habitation of the LORD our GOD. Here we are safe from every form of evil.  Here we abide in safety, peace and rest for our souls.
Psalm 91 beautifully describes that for us. VV 9-10 “Because you have made the LORD who is my refuge, even the Most High your dwelling place, no evil shall befall you, nor any plague come near your dwelling.” 24/7 we have protection.  vv5-7 “You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, nor the arrow that flies by day, nor the pestilence that walks in darkness, nor the destruction that lays waste at noonday. A thousand may fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right hand; but it shall not come near you.” (Emphasis added)
We are far separated from any evil that may befall us. V8 “Only with your eyes shall you look and see the reward of the wicked.” Sometimes we are not even aware of the evil around us until the Holy Spirit reveals it to us.  How do we know?  The Holy Spirit within us begins to stir within us…..deep within our souls there is an unrest and discomfort.  There is a nudging in our spirit and a burden within our souls.  The solution to this is to pray.  He will reveal to us the mysteries of this burden and as we release it to Him, He takes it away. He also reveals to us the source and reason this burden. Sometimes they are placed within us because the LORD is looking for someone to pray.  Can He trust us with this burden?  Sometimes it is someone coming against us or a deep call to intercede for someone or something.
Believe me, this is not a comfortable feeling.  It feels as if your soul is being eaten away….but, “God is our Refuge and Strength, a very present in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, even though the earth be removed and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea. Though the waters roar and be troubled. Though the mountains shake with its swelling.”  The promise is, v4-5 “There is a river whose streams shall make glad the city of GOD. The Holy place of the tabernacle of the Most High.  GOD is in the midst of her, she shall not be moved. GOD shall help her just at the break of dawn.” Yes, GOD shall help her just at the break of dawn.  When we think that all hope is lost….After we have wept all night help comes, “at the break of dawn comes help.”
It is important to note that help comes to the one who seeks the LORD because, “……………He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.” Hebrews 11:6b
To enter into this blessed covenant, I must choose to make the LORD my number one.  Note the mentioned Psalms 71 and 91.
Psalm 71:1a “In You O LORD I put my trust……..”
Psalm 91:1 “He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High, shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
The promise? Psalm 91:14-16 “Because he has set his love upon Me, therefore I will deliver him; I will set him on high, because he has known My Name; I will be with him in trouble and deliver him and honor him.  With long life I will satisfy him and show him My salvation.” (Emphasis added).
If we desire to live GOD’s promised peace, rest, safety and deliverance.  We must first seek Him, surrender our will and emotions to Him.  Trust Him and seek Him in every area of our lives.  The outcome will be the promised blessings is seen here in Psalms 46, 71 and 91.
I pray we will always be sensitive to the leading of the Holy Spirit and trust Him to lead us and reveal His heart to us as we seek Him in prayer. May we also always abide under the shadow of the Almighty as we make Him our LORD and Savior, commit ourselves to Him and always seek Him.

The Christmas Message....Life in GOD's Garden

Life in God’s Garden…….A Christmas story

“The Lord God planted a garden eastward in Eden, and there He put the man whom He had formed. V 9 And out of the ground the Lord God made every tree grow that is pleasant to the sight and good for food.  The tree of life was also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. V 16 And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, ‘of every tree of the garden you may freely eat;v17 but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat of it you shall surely die.’” Genesis2:8-10, 16-18 NKJV

The Lord God created a beautiful dwelling place for us.  He made provisions for all that we need in that garden.  A place of rest and peace.  In the midst of this garden is The Tree of Life (Jesus) and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. (The ills of this world and the enemy)  Note: The tree of life (Jesus) stands in the midst of the garden…..In the midst of all that is around us….both good and evil.  These are the trees of blessings and cursing.  Blessed are we if we obey God’s voice and cursed are we if we do not.

“He who has an ear, let him hear what the Sprit says to the churches.  To him who overcomes I will give to eat from the tree of life, which is in the midst of the Paradise of God.” Revelation 2: 7 NKJV

Adam and Eve disobeyed God and ate of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil and they were banished from the garden…..a place of safety that God created for them.

“So He drove out the man; and He placed cherubim at the east of the Garden of Eden, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to guard the way to the tree of life.” Genesis 3:24

God wants us to dwell in the garden of peace and safety He has created for us.  Through
disobedience and partaking of the ways of the world we will be banished from His presence.  However in His mercy He prepares a redemption plan for us to once again partake of His blessings and not evil.  “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord thoughts of peace and not evil, to give you a future and a hope.” Jeremiah 29:11

He said to the serpent.  “And I will put enmity between your seed and her Seed:  He shall bruise you head and you shall bruise His heel………….l.” Genesis 3:15   God said Jesus our Redeemer will bruise Satan’s head which is his highest part, the area of his evil dominion.  Our Savior would trample him as He did at the cross.  Jesus cancelled all of Satan’s plans and schemes once and for all at the cross, thus giving God’s children the victory over the evil one.

God has indeed created and established for us a place of safety even in this sinful world and even as the darkness increases there is safety for the children of God.  Through the finished work on the Cross, sin no longer has dominion over us to rob us of our blessings of enjoying God’s beautiful garden.

“Even so we, when we were children, were in bondage under the elements of the world, but when the fullness of the time had come, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the law, to redeem those who were under the law, that we might receive the adoption as sons, and because you are sons, God has sent forth the Spirit of His son into your hearts, crying ‘Abba, Father!’ Therefore you are no longer a slave but a son, and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.” Galatians 4:3-7
We are no longer slaves to the commands and demands of the sinful nature of the enemy, for we have been bought, freed, forgiven and made victorious through the sacrificial death of Christ Jesus, our Precious Lord and Savior.  No longer is there a flaming sword going back and forth to prevent us access to the Tree of Life…Jesus.  Even as He breathed His last breath, the veil of the Temple was torn that we may have direct access into the Holy of Holies where the presence of our Father dwells…..now of course He abides within us, His Temples.

The enemy entered the place of safety God created for us to steal our joy, our health our peace and all our blessings.  He came to kill us spiritually and physically, to play with our minds, to confuse us with his lies and deception.  Note Father God said, “He will bruise your head----------What he was trying to do to us, God reversed; He reversed the curse.  Our minds are the center of our will.  This controls our thoughts, perceptions and way of thinking.  A crown of thorns was placed on our Savior’s head.  His persecutor’s were not only mocking him, by placing on His head such a crown, but they wounded Him and symbolically tried to confuse Him not to believe who He said He was… “The King of the Jews.”

The devil planted deception in Eve’s mind when he asked her. “Has God indeed said, you shall not eat of every tree of the garden?” Genesis 3:1b.

We are warned to be always on the watch.
“Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.  Resist him, steadfast in the faith knowing that the same sufferings are experienced by your brotherhood in the world.” 1Peter 5:8-9
This may not seem like a Christmas story, but this was indeed the purpose of Jesus’ coming to earth.  He came to be sin’s sacrifice…..The unblemished Lamb of God.  He was and still is the Most Precious gift from God to all mankind that those who hear and believe may accept him and receive eternal life and while on earth once again enjoy the blessings of living in God’s Beautiful Garden. Even as the darkness increases, having the Lord Jesus in our hearts allows us to spiritually live in His Garden of Peace.
As we delight ourselves in the laws and commands of our Heavenly Father we shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, which brings forth its fruit in its season.  Whose leaf also shall not wither….  See Psalm 1:3

“And He showed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding from the throne of God and of the Lamb.  In the middle of its street, and on either side of the river, was the tree of life, which bore twelve fruits, each tree yielding its fruit every month.  The leave of the tree were for the healing of he nations.  And there shall be no more curse, but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it and His servants shall serve Him.  They shall see His face, and His name shall be on their foreheads.  There shall be no night there.  They need no lamp nor light for the sun, for the Lord God gives them light. And they shall reign forever and ever.” Revelation 22:1-5

Ezekiel 47:1&12 “And they brought me back to the door of the temple; and there was water, flowing from under the threshold of the temple toward the east, for the front of the temple faced east; the water was flowing from under the right side of the temple, south of the alter. V 12 Along the bank of the river, on this side and that, will grow all kind of trees used for food; their leaves will not wither, and their fruit will not fail.  They will bear fruit every month, because their water flows from the sanctuary.  Their fruit will be for food, and their leaves for medicine.” Ezekiel 47:1&12

Our Wonderful Savior has come to restore us to God’s Beautiful Garden.  To restore our Joy, Peace, our relationship and communion with our Heavenly Father.

At His birth the Angles sang “Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, goodwill toward men!”  Luke 2:14………………..Let us now go to Bethlehem and see this thing that has come to pass, which the Lord has made known to us.”

A Merry Christmas to all.

God's Pearl of Wisdom

"Trust in the LORD with all thine heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your paths." Proverbs 3:5-6

This is a decreed promise that as we cast all our cares on the LORD and put our trust in Him, "in all our ways. This means in everything we do. As long as we acknowledge Him, His decreed promise is, He "will direct our paths." Impossible doors will be opened and doors He did not open for us will be closed.

He will "lead us beside still waters" Psalm 23:2b......Not waters of fear, anxiety and confusion, but peaceful and still waters. Note: sheep do not drink from rapid waters, they always drink from peaceful waters. He will also "lead us in the paths of righteousness for His Name's sake." Psalm 23:3b.

We cannot help but speak of the goodness of the LORD and what He has done for us in the difficult times of our lives. As we share our testimony, He gets the glory...this is "for His Name's sake."
This word from Proverbs 3:5-6 the LORD gave me during a very difficult time in my life. I have lived out and still living His promise to "direct my paths." I do not want to live in where I am now, but for "His Name's sake." I am here and whether I like it or not, I just have to live with it, to the glory of "His Name."

May this precious promise from our Father's Word be your daily bread.
With love, blessings and Prayers from "GOD's Precious Pearls."

From the Desk of God’s Precious Pearls

For they shall be mine,” says the Lord of Hosts, “on that day that I make them my jewels, and I will spear them as a man spares his own son who serves him.”    Malachi 3:17

September 7th, 2015

Good morning “Precious Pearls”

I pray you had a wonderful weekend and today you are having a blessed Labor Day.

Many of us are experiencing some sort of ailments.  It may be physical, emotional, mental, even relationship, financial or spiritual.  Whatever the need, I want to encourage you that there is hope and healing in and through Jesus Christ………Let’s feed from His Word…..Luke 5:17-26 NKJV.
Jesus connected healing with forgiveness and this indicates that He desires wholeness in every area of need in our lives.  Forgiveness of sin is our greatest need.  We were conceived in sin and even though we have given our lives to the LORD Jesus, in our weakness we continue to sin daily in thoughts, words or deeds.  This blocks or hinders our relationship with the LORD and also prevents healing in our lives.
Our healing is aided by the love, prayers, encouragement and compassion of others.  It was compassion and love that moved Jesus to minister to those in need.  It is not believing how “anointed we think, or how deserving we are”  “Love covers a multitude of sins.” 1 Peter 4:8
The friends of the paralytic man in Luke 5:17-26 were desperate and determined for their friend to be healed.  They had faith to believe that if they just bring him in and lay him before Jesus, he would be healed.  Just as the woman with the issue of blood believed that if she only but touched the hem of Jesus’ garments she would be healed. Matthew 9:21.
Luke 5:19 tells us they could not find a way to bring him in, so with determination and desperation they thought of a way. “And when they could not find how they might bring him in, because of the crowd, they went up on the housetop and let him down with his bed through the tiling into the midst before Jesus” v 20.
“When He saw their faith, He said to him. “Man, your sins are forgiven you.”   Jesus, being GOD Himself, knew exactly what this man needed and so does He, with each of us…….He sees our deepest needs.  Note also, scripture did not say, “the man’s faith.”  It said, “their faith.”   Who is standing in faith with us in agreement for our healing and deliverance?  Left to the religious group, the Pharisees and teachers of the law, this man would not have received his healing.
Jesus perceived the doubt in their hearts.  “…………..why are you reasoning in your hearts?” Which is easier, to say, ‘Your sins are forgiven you.’ Or to say, ‘Rise up and walk?”  V22b-23.  The paralyzed man would simply pick up his bed with his baggage of sins which held him captive and paralyzed for so long and would quite likely not having received his healing.  He would not have received the rest for his soul.   “But that you many know that the Son of Man has power on earth to forgive sins”   He said to the man who was paralyzed, “I say to you, arise, take up your bed, and to your house.” V 24 NKJV

His sins were forgiven.  The burden of sin was released…..he was set free to receive his healing. “Immediately he rose up before them, took up what he had been lying on, and departed to his own house, glorifying GOD.”  What had he been lying on?  What held him down? Where had he been?  “He departed to his own house.”
Whatever situation we face, let us first examine ourselves and first of all repent for any sins known and unknown, ask the LORD to forgive us, deliver us and heal us.
I had to do just that many years ago after making the choice of my brief first marriage.  Two weeks after my marriage, I saw the trouble I had put myself in.  I repented for not praying about it even though I saw the red flags.  I promised the LORD I would not do one thing without consulting with him in prayer.  That evening he gave me full instructions and from then led me on the way……Back to school for further studies and trips across the oceans; unexpected promotions, Divine visitations and led me to the place He was preparing for me.  Where He took me was not in my plan, nor choice, but His.  Here He blessed me with a wonderful husband of 33+ years and a lovely family.  It is good to recognize the hand of GOD in our lives.
May the LORD bless and minister to you from these His inspired words.  May we receive healing and restoration in every area of our lives as we repent of our sins and ask the LORD for forgiveness.  May the LORD bless and keep you always.

In His service.

Becoming GOD's "Precious Pearls"

Becoming GOD's "Precious Pearls."

Have you been tested and tried recently?  Do not loose heart.  GOD is working on you.  Why?  You are His "Precious Pearls" and He is working on His "Pearls."  Very soon you will look at your trials and just laugh at them.
There was a time in my life I had to fight in prayer and sometimes separation to overcome my trials.  I give praise to our Heavenly Father that this "Pearl" seems to have become a formed one, with continued work in process; that she just rests in the arms of Jesus and leave everything to Him.  That is the place He is taking us to.  The next thing to do is just to pick up that "Pearl," polish her, and behold the beauty of GOD's finish work through having fought my battle and handed me the "Pearl of Victory."
It is GOD's desires to take us to a place of rest in Him.  In this place we know where our confidence is.  It is in Him. "For You have been my hope, Sovereign LORD, my confidence since my youth." Psalm 71:5 NIV
"Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need."   God is working His precious fruit of patience in us according to James 1:1-3.  Like the oyster in the shell which after irritation from the sand, allows Precious Holy spirit to pour His oil on you, just as the oyster protects itself with nacre, this hardens around the irritant or grain of sand irritating the oyster.  From this the "Precious Pearl" is formed.
Throughout our life we will not only wear a ring with a single Pearl. We are being adorned with a string of Pearls, so let us draw near to GOD as He creates our "String of Pearls."
Blessings my "Precious Pearls."

Listen and Obey.

From the Desk of "GOD's Precious Pearls"

Happy Spring to you all……Many have already gotten this download/revelation from Heaven.  I have been hearing this in my spirit for awhile, but now it has resonated even more and I feel compelled to share it.

What I heard in my spirit a long time ago, was to listen to what I’m hearing on waking from deep sleep.  Sometimes we may hear a song deep within the recesses of our spirit ministering to us. I tell you the truth; many times it is almost audible.  We hear GOD’s voice in the quiet moments and what better quiet moment this is…..Undisturbed and uncluttered.  Keep a note pad on your nightstand, or use the notes/memo icon on your phone to immediately record.   GOD’s Word tells us that in the last days, He will pour out His Spirit on all flesh, Joel2:28.   We will have dreams and visions and we will prophesy.

I am so grateful and feel so honored for the many downloads/revelations.  These may be personal, some to share with very close family members and friends for guidance and instructions.  Some to share publicly, some are answerers to our deep thoughts and prayers, thus removing all fears, anxieties and longing of the soul.

The LORD promises to teach us great and mighty things we know not of; so these revelations sometimes blow the hats off my head.  Note as we feed ourselves with His Word and saturate in prayer, our spirit is saturated by its washing to receive from Him.

GOD’s ways and thoughts are not like mine, they are much higher.  As I look to Him as a child, He will lead and guide me by speaking tenderly to my heart…….I remember until today the deep instructions of my mother.  They guided and protected me.  I had a good father….they are both in heaven.  Dad was very quiet, but unlike most mothers who are generally more in tuned to the souls of her family, Mom gave me profound and long lasting instructions which from time to time,  have passed on to my children.

“My son, hear the instructions of thy father, and forsake not the law of thy mother. For they shall be an ornament of grace unto thy head, and chains about thy neck” Proverbs 1:8-9 KJV   The NKJ version speaks of law as instructions.     Note:  He did not say, “They will be an ornament of confusion to our head and chains about our neck to bind us up and put us into bondage.”  This is what the world offers.

I never forget the vision I saw only 2 weeks after my first marriage in London, England.  On a bright sunny Saturday evening, I saw myself bound in huge links of chains from my head to my toes.  I immediately repented and 100% committed myself to Father’s guidance.  I saw the red flags, but I disobeyed and was gullible and went into this marriage and endured 18 months of hell with its overflow. The LORD spoke to my heart right there and then and gave me clear instructions to return to nursing school to do my Midwifery training.  My best moments were while I was away from home in Midwifery School.  The LORD instructed me not to go to school locally, as I would never be able to complete my studies.  I went far away, where I had to reside in Staff accommodations. Instructions continue until today.

I returned to my homeland, as He instructed and subsequently led me to this country after clear instructions to return to England to complete a required course in order to take the Nursing Board exams to work in the USA. All this was contrary to my plans,  to return home for good.  I give thanks as He led me here to a wonderful, caring husband who is my friend, my lover and my husband.   As long as I remain close to Him, I have less chances of missing them.  I’m not perfect, I miss it sometimes.

As I write, I am reminded that as an encourager, I must be prepared to be transparent.  I do not like it, but I must be obedient.   JESUS our Savior was more than transparent for us.  I am to comfort you with the same comfort I have received.  Please see 2 Corinthians 1:3-6

The time and season we are living in calls for stillness and redemption of times lost.  It is time to seek the LORD and stay as close to Him as possible.  Listen to His soft gentle voice and obey.  A few weeks ago, in a dream, I saw piles of papers I had journal and they were sitting there waiting to be published.  Obedience is calling out and we who have been called to write, must share what the LORD has given us to edify our souls, our families and the body of Christ.  He has anointed us with the pen of the ready writer.

Let us be quiet, listen, obey and carry out our Divine instructions and mandate.

Blessings and happy Spring from God’s Precious Pearls.

Lead me Dear LORD, lead me.

From the Desk of “God’s Precious Pearls”

January 27th 2015

How often have we pondered and concerned ourselves with wanting to make sure we are in Father’s will?  This is the heartfelt cry and longing for the child of GOD.  I know it is for me and even so much more recently.
Sometimes for whatever reason we go off course and become less focused on our mission and GOD given assignment.  Sometimes it was not a matter of wasting time, but doing what we often think that this “good thing, was a GOD thing.”
Recently as I have been seeking the LORD, I sense the tug in my spirit to stay on focus and concentrate on my mission and assignment.  I am sharing this, because I know that this is the heartfelt cry of all His children.  I have personally experienced derailment in the work He has instructed me to do as I serve elsewhere.  There is nothing wrong with serving elsewhere, but we must give account for our assignment and make it a priority.
Sometimes our derailment causes pain, disappointment and not wanting to move on. Even now we know of many leaders who have given up because of pain and disappointment.  As it is for me and one who is called to encourage the Body of Christ….. “God’s Precious Pearls,” His Bride,  I am encouraging you not to lose heart.  I know I am speaking to many at this time.  Even as I am encouraging myself, I encourage you also to revisit your mission and GOD given assignment; whatever that assignment may be.
Sometimes we want to be validated and approved by man and if we do not have that we feel we were not called in the first place.  The LORD has delivered me from that fear.  As He spoke to my heart, it was not man who called us in the first place, He did.  Man cannot and quite likely would not have called us because they do not see nor know our hearts.  Sometimes they see what GOD has placed there and find it hard to encourage us.  Instead they may want us to feel that there is something wrong with us….we may be “grandiose or delusional, off course or strange.”  With GOD’s help as we recognize where we have fallen short, we repent from doubting our assignment and in returning we will find rest and the anointing to pick up the pieces and move on.  In times like these we need a Savior and we are the hands extended for the Savior.
I never forget my dear mother from whom I gleaned the gift of hospitality.  She did not have a pulpit ministry, but she served the LORD faithfully through encouragement and the ministry of helps within the church and her community.   I never forget the Sunday evening she felt lost because there was no more “Goddie Mary,” to take the Sunday dinner and cool tropical drink to. Every Sunday, she made sure the dear elderly lady in our village received her Sunday dinner.  We would feel like “Little Red Riding Hood” as we trotted through the coffee and coco trees to her little house to deliver her dinner.  “Goddie Mary” passed away quietly and suddenly without any warning, other than, “feeling tired.”  She asked her neighbor, not to leave for the market and on checking on her shortly after, she was gone.  Only moments before that she was giving her final instructions on her tiny estate and funeral arrangement. At age 93, never having had a Doctor’s visit, she walked around her property doing odds and ends then laid down to rest before her flight.
On returning from the city, I learned of her passing.  I went to her tiny home and as a trained nurse, I laid her body out so that rigor mortise would not set in and the undertakers having problems preparing her body for burial.
I sensed a satisfaction in mother as she knew she had fulfilled her then given assignment and it was time to listen for the next.
It is before GOD and GOD alone that we have to stand and give account for the assignments and talents He has given to us for His Glory.  No excuse will answer for us
I speak to that weary and discouraged soul today and even as I encourage myself…….. “Do not lose heart, it is GOD who called us in the first place….. “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love GOD, to them who are the called according to His purpose. For whom He did foreknow, He also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of His Son that He might be the first-born among many brethren. Moreover whom He did predestinate, them He also called and whom He called, them He also justified; and whom He justified, them he also glorified. What shall we then say to these things? If GOD be for us, who can be against us?’  Romans 8:28-31 KJV
My prayer is that our hearts will be quickened again to visit that place and do not lose heart.  As I am encouraging you, I too am encouraged.  Let us ……..  “lay aside every weight, and the sin which do so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus the Author and Finisher of our faith…………..”  (Reference Hebrews 12: 1-2)  The LORD may have called you to simply send greeting cards to the sick and shut in.  Let us be faithful in the little things and He will bless us with the bigger things.
Much love, Blessings and Prayers as we serve our LORD Jesus.
